Christmas Comes To Wednesfield Tonight- See You There!

Christmas comes to Wednesfield this evening!

The Christmas lights will be switched on during a fun filled event for all the family, starting at 4pm.

The historic St Thomas’s Church will play host to a carol service from 4pm to 4.45pm, while Signal 107 will be keeping the audience entertained in the High Street with their popular roadshow, hosted by Wednesfield native Dicky Dodd, before Mayor of Wolverhampton Councillor Ian Brookfield and Santa officially turn the lights on at 5pm.

The free event will be packed with yuletide activities including a timely Christmas charity market with a variety of stalls open from 2pm until 6pm, providing the perfect opportunity for some local Christmas shopping.

Please note, High Street will be closed from 3pm to 6pm on the day, with buses re-directed along Alfred Squire Road, Neachells Lane and Lichfield Road.
