Here is a brief summary of events that we have been involved with, plus key meetings taking place over the past few days.
Request for Help!
The weekend has as usual – always throws up work that you do not expect!
I have acted for constituents around the following issues….I have had three families contact me for help. Sadly they live in two adjoining Wards and not in Wednesfield North Ward. I have contacted their respective Councillors on their behalf.

I have received thanks from a Wednesfield North family that sought my help and advice with regard to housing, and I am pleased that I have been able to assist them into a home locally- But not in Wednesfield North. But they do tell me they are happy with their new home!
I have also received a ‘Thank You’ from a constituent who had a problem with a garage -He said “Yes thank you all sorted now…. Thanks again for your help”
Wednesfield in Bloom
I spent Sunday planting flowers donated by residents, in one of the Planters at the corner of Alfred Squire Road/High Street as we prepare for Wednesfield in Bloom.
This Planter is designated for Wednesfield North as we make our play to assist Wednesfield gain a Gold Medal in July, when the In Bloom Inspectors arrive. It is looking a little more colourful now!
Education
Councillor Rita Potter & Councillor Mary Bateman are out attending an education meeting in Wednesfield this morning.
