Wednesfield North is a low crime Ward – But I did think that this Pie Chart gave a very interesting set of statistics as to what type of crime was taking place in Wednesfield North, in the 12 months recorded from June 2015 -May 2016.

I must admit to feeling uneasy that the statistics record Violent Crime at 124 cases, by far the largest crime taking place here in our Ward. Vehicle Crime at 73 reported crimes will also un-nerve residents. Vile burglary incidents are recorded at 47 incidents…..and shop lifting at 35 Incidents. I wished we together would challenge the Anti-Social Behaviour statistics, by trying hard to get children and youths to think a little and not to cause neighbourhood tensions. Many of the complaints recorded will be of issues that are of Anti Social Behaviour of a low level. But they still break the law, and annoy lots of people. They also get lifted into the Crime Statistics!
I was pleased to see that there had been no crime recorded for the Possessions of Weapons.
