We did this the other day in Broad Lane North, a resident was suspicious about a youths activity. They contacted the Police and the door to door sellers were checked out! Be aware and take action……
Scam Alert: Distraction Burglary Dwelling on Hodson Close, Ashmore Park – The Offender Who Was Claiming To Be Doing Gardening Work Has Knocked On The Elderly Victims Door Stating He Has Come To Do The “Weeding”. The Victim Has Initially Protested But Has Then Allowed The Offender To Enter The Address. The Offender Has Asked The Victim For A Cup Of Tea And The Victim Went Into The Kitchen Leaving The Offender In The Lounge. When The Victim Has Returned To The Lounge Has Seen The Offender In An Adjoining Bedroom Going Through Purse And Handbag Which Had Been Removed From Wardrobe. The Victim Has Challenged The Offender And The Offender Has Started Crying And Apologised. The Offender Then Made Good Escape Leaving Via The Front Door Making Good His Escape. Found That Approximately £400 Was Missing From Handbag.

15/06/2015 – Burglary Dwelling on Griffiths Drive, Ashmore Park. Offenders Have Climbed Over Garage Roof To Access Garden, Entered Garage From Rear And Unlocked Garage Door From Inside, Stolen Motorbike.

15/06/2015 – Burglary Other Building on Lichfield Road, Wednesfield. Unknown Offender(S) Have Gained Entry Into 2x Secure Outbuildings In The Rear Garden Of Property By Cutting Through The Padlocks On Front Wooden Door With Unknown Instrument. Nothing Stolen And No Further Damage.
16/06/2015 – Burglary Other Building on Lich Avenue, Wednesfield. Unknown Offender(S) Have Gained Access Into Unlocked Shed In Rear Garden And Stolen Black And Decker Strimmer, Rake, Fork, Spade And Hedge Trimmers.
