Now here is some good news! Councillor Phil Bateman said today – ” The Mayor of Wolverhampton Councillor Ian Brookfield has arranged this day to celebrate HM Queen Elizabeth milestone. ….it would be great if Wednesfield children born on that day attended! Here is what you do if your child has his/her birthday on this day”. Do you know a child who has a birthday on 9th September? Then please share this post with their parents/guardians. If you have a child aged 11 or under who was born on 9th September, it isn’t too late to apply for a ticket for a right royal celebration. On that date, the Queen will become the longest serving monarch in British history. To mark the historic occasion, the Mayor of Wolverhampton is hosting a special party for local children who were born on the day. It will have a traditional British theme with Punch and Judy, bunting and jelly and ice cream. Places are limited, so get in quick to apply for a ticket by emailing mayoral@wolverhampton.gov.uk. Please act quickly and don’t miss out on this special event.
