Today a member of the public reported that there was a lady on the canal towpath who was lifting wild flowers and removing them from this Local Nature Reserve which the Wyrley and Essington canal is.
It goes without saying that the wildflowers are best left where they are, so everyone can enjoy them. Be it flowers or ferns. Please leave them where they are.
The member of the public who witnessed this act reported the matter to the police and a log number was given….
