Today I received a message from Wolverhampton North East MP Emma Reynolds who explained that she will be voting to trigger Article 50 and will be on the BBC Sunday Politics, Sunday 29 January from 11am to talk about Brexit, Article 50 and the upcoming Stoke By-Election.
I reported this important issue to Wednesfield North Labour Party last night. But I also thought it important for the wider Wednesfield North public to see also.
Here is Emma Reynolds message –
“Dear all, I wanted to let you know ahead of next week’s vote in Parliament that, although I campaigned to remain in the EU, I accept the result of the EU Referendum and that next week I will be voting for the Article 50 Bill which will trigger the formal Brexit negotiations. As a member of the Brexit Select Committee, I will continue to hold the Government to account on the detail of any deal that is ultimately agreed on. I also wanted to let you know that I will on this week’s Sunday Politics show which is broadcast on BBC1 in the Midlands from 11am where I will be talking about Brexit, the triggering of Article 50 and the upcoming Stoke by-election so do tune in. I always welcome comments and feedback, so if you wish to contact me on this, or any other issue then please do so.” |
