I have along with others called for the demolition of the old Steam Mill and the reopening of Corn Hill to traffic for some considerable time now.
I am pleased to note that finally the dilapidated building has now been taken away, and that the site is now cleared for the next stages of the Interchange project.
My call now is for the city Council to act as quickly as it is possible, to open up Corn Hill for highway traffic once again. This side of the City is missing the highway link, and it is very important to the City that connections are quickly re-established.
