Ashmore Park Nursery School had Mr Sion Simon MEP visit the school yesterday. He was visiting to see what kind of work the Nursery School was doing which had attracted the international attention it has.

Here is what the Sion said  about our school “Had a great time at Ashmore Park Nursery School yesterday morning, seeing how it is leading in digital learning. The school in Wednesfield has received three years of outstanding reports from Ofsted. It’s leading not only nationally, but internationally, with its teaching being recognised across the globe. Thanks to Cllr Phil Bateman, Cllr Mary Bateman, and Cllr Claire Darke for highlighting this brilliant school.”

Also attending the school were Councillor Clair Darke the Chair of Education, and Mr Julian Kramer the new Director of Education. The staff at the school were brilliant through out the visit. Answering our visitors questions yet at the same time getting the best out of the children, and ensuring the children came first! I was so very proud of everyone involved on the day. School Governors and educators , teaching staff, and the brilliant children who were a credit to our community here in Wednesfield North.
