I wonder if anyone has a comment they would like to make with regard to a recent question I asked under Freedom of Information rules to West Midlands Police. I am just keen to see what readers response are…..and if it matches my own thoughts?

REQUEST
Is it possible to supply me with detection rates for crime in Wednesfield North for the year 2013? And 2014.
RESPONSE
I am writing to inform you that we have searched our records and the information you requested is not held by West Midlands Police.
However to assist you we could search our systems and provide offences for Wednesfield North for 2013 and 2014 cleared up by clear up code.
As recommended as good practice by the Information Commissioner’s Office a version of this response may be published on the West Midlands Police website.
