Many of you will have known or guessed that I have been away on holiday, that is perhaps why you have not read of chages to the information on this site or other Social Media sites, or have been able to contact myself or Mary. Councillor Rita Potter has been available as she always is!
Councillor Potter does a great job for our Ward, and the three of us together work hard to cover all the issues that are raised.
Here is some new Wednesfield North Ward information. It will take a week or two to get back totally on schedule and deliver some of the answers to questions that you asked before we left for our Annual Holiday.
Lets start with this one – Tony asked for help with a problem in and around a former car park site in Snape Road- regarding the former garage site located to the rear of 102 – 104 Snape Road.
Here is the answer “The site remains within the management of Wolverhampton Homes, although a small section of the site has been sold.
There has been a site visit made by Officials “along with a representative from Continental Landscapes who are Wolverhampton Homes’ grounds maintenance partner who undertake all grounds maintenance services on our behalf.
There are some self-seeded silver birch trees (approximately 5 / 6) and one self-seeded goat willow located on the site that are in close proximity to the boundary fencing with potential to cause some damage. The best long-term solution is to have the trees removed.
A request has been forwarded to Continental Landscapes to have the trees felled and work is scheduled in for completion by the end of December 2016.”
Hopefully this response will be seen as being beneficial to those residents who have complained.
