Today I start off by attending the funeral of former Wednesfield North Councillor Gwen Stafford Good, who was also a former Mayor of the City of Wolverhampton. This is taking place at St Peter’s Church Wolverhampton. I will be joined at the funeral by Councillors Mary Bateman and Councillor Rita Potter. Therefore all three current Wednesfield North City Councillors will be in Church to pay our respects to the life and times of Gwen.
Later in the day I shall with Mary, be attending the Charity event organised at the Wednesfield Aces track on Ashmore Park where the third cycle speedway challenge race, supported by a team from Signal Radio will be performing.
The Charity benefitting from this event is Diabetes UK, I really do hope you and the rest of Ashmore Park can Find an hour to visit the event and give Glyn Rowley who has organised this night, your support!
