You know there is all sorts of News!, National News, Regional News and of course Local news. Now this news is not in either of the first three categories, it is not going to make TV or Radio News, and it is unlikely to make the Chronicle or the Express and Star!
But it is a welcome snippet of information that will be greeted well by dog walkers who use the canal tow-path and the lovely walks alongside the Wyrley & Essington canal at the Devil’s Elbow Bridge.
The information is that the City of Wolverhampton will be siting a Waste Bin at this location to allow walkers to put there rubbish and their dog pooh directly into the bin.
This is a great initiative as it should help to clear dog pooh from the streets and the canal side. It has been a popular request from users of Devils Elbow recreationally.
