Grass Cutting Cycle Explained!

Wednesfield North is a Ward in the North East of Wolverhampton. It has a large number of grass verges, and green open spaces.

During this last month I have had several residents contact me about the City Council contracts for the cutting of Grass Verges in this Ward of Wednesfield North.

I contacted the City Council and have received information direct from the Public Realm department at Wolverhampton City Council  who look after the service.

Public Realm advise me that “the grass cutting cycle across the city (verges/open space) is a monthly cut.  Highway grass verges are cut once a month, or 8 times per year, during the main growing season. Residents will inevitably notice the grass will be longer in some areas between cuts.”
