Kindness Matters – Here in Wednesfield North!

#kindnessmatters and #WVkindness

These are difficult times as The Corona Pandemic runs its course here in the City of Wolverhampton.

Councillor Phil Bateman said – We all need to continue to press ahead in making
our society kinder and better than it is.

Yes, I am so very proud of our community!

The fantastic work being undertaken by the Ashmore Inn and Gaffer Kevin Ward in starting and running a Food Bank for
our locality.

It was a fantastic idea and a great initiative. Your Three City Councillors -Mary Bateman, and Rita Potter and Phil Bateman ,
said “We see many problems and difficulties. But we also see great acts of community benefit. Like the Ashmore Inn Food Bank.”
Its a great initiative that is well received by our community.

There are scores of people that have lost employment, many families have been hit hard.We also see the great and very good efforts
that others involve them selves in, for the good of others.

I think the Super Heroes that have been out and about in Ashmore Park and Wednesfield North raising funds for Birmingham Children’s Hospital, but have lifted the
moral of Parents and Children during our Corona Virus Lockdown period. These Super Heroes are just ‘Materialising’ in street after street! Day in and Day out, giving
a boost to both Parents and Children. These fab people have been magnificent now for weeks at a time. They epitomise #kindnessmatter and #WVkindness and All three Councillors in Wednesfield North are happy to give them our shout!”.
