A quick up date on Local Issues your Councillors are dealing with pertaining to Wednesfield North

  • Oakmeadow School Parking – The issue of parking around Oakmeadow School has again been raised by constituents. This time a parent who is concerned about cars parking on the pavement & across the ’Zig-zag line’ marking. He tells me that there was” a near miss when one of the young children almost got hit by a cat” I have reported this issue to the Police, The City Council, and the School. I will wait and see what will take place around this complaint and will publish any information received.
  • Police Consultation – David Jamieson, Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for the West Midlands has launched a consultation to find out about what matters to people in the West Midlands and to understand their policing priorities. The consultation will inform the new Policing and Crime Plan which will be published later this year.   • Snape Road – A report about a faulty street Light in Snape Road – The City Council are responsible for the column and the electricity feed to the column falls to the responsibility of Western Power Distribution who will connect the supply to the new column – they have a 25 day notification period to undertake this work.images_articles_streetlight_797552124Street Light Warwickshire
  • Chilworth Avenue – Here is the latest update. Some work is taking place on the land following pressure from the Local Authority on the land- owner. Activity is what was required and the latest information will I am sure re-assure residents in this Avenue.
