Charity is an important service here in the Bateman household and in 2015 we continued to support a number of individual charities.
We still donate to the Children’s Society and in 2015 they received two collection boxes with £128.00 in total from us. We also support Cancer Research who also receive a monthly donation, and we have both been actively supporting Cancer Charities now since 1976. We will also be making a donation to the Mayors own Charity for his distribution towards the end of his Mayoral term.
Recently we donated food to the P3 Food Bank for Homeless People, following an initiative started by a local girl, Katrina Williamson.
