As Councillor Ian Brookfield current Mayor of the City of Wolverhampton comes towards the end of his term of Office, I just want to pay tribute to him for the excellent work he has undertaken for the City. Both Councillor Brookfield and his Mayoress Councillor Paula Brookfield, will be a very hard act to follow! They finish their term of Office in mid May. They have been tireless in their promotion of the City and Ian has managed to also continue to work for his employer. I know how hard that role is! Balancing all the pressures. Yet Mayor Brookfield has not only managed the task well, he has been innovative in the way that he has reported and projected the Mayoralty.
