The Local Authority has ordered Balfour Beatty (National Grid’s contractors) remove mud from footways and carriageways on Ashmore Ave, Acorn Road, Griffiths Drive and in the Hill Place turning head as soon as possible.  Balfour Beatty are shortly due to start taking down their compound on Acorn Road. City Council have tried to move the compound closer to their current works around Snape Road .
