#working4wednesfield
I have diligently tried to ensured that the residents in #Wednesfield North have been informed about all aspects relating to this horrible pandemic. I post information on all my Social Media sites almost daily. The introduction of the Covid-19 testing station at The Hub at Ashmore Park has been a ‘God send’ in that it has helped tremendously in tracking and tracing the virus locally.
Ashmore Park, Wednesfield and Woodend postal districts, have consistently been higher than the Wolverhampton and National average.
I want to say that despite the fact that the vaccination program is going so well, and the infection rates are now coming down. We need to ensure that the testing still continues.
This virus is alive and out and about in our community.
The local test yesterday showed that – (Monday 15th February 2021)
• 84 individuals tested in Ashmore Park Hub
• 4 individuals tested Positive
• 80 tested Negative.
The Virus is still very much ‘alive and kicking’- 4 Positive individuals that have picked up Corona Virus -19 in our community. All of whom are now having to isolate.
With more than 2000 individuals tested since 21st of January at the Ashmore Park Hub, the testing regime has located 62 Positive cases.
Mary and I are continually testing, (We will be at the testing station again on Thursday) despite the fact that we have both now received vaccinations, and we urge all our constituents to follow the science, keep testing and play a role in getting this awful virus under control.
Now is not the time to stop testing!
