Yesterday I had the fun of stepping back into the past and I went for a run on the last T69 tram as it was scheduled to reach the end of the line!
I then attended a ceremony in Wednesbury and met up with some old colleagues and met some new faces just starting a career with National Express Midland Metro. It brought back what are happy memories now. I am glad that I with a whole lot of former workmates, made such an impact on the Wolverhampton, Sandwell and Birmingham, by playing our part in the provision of metro services!
The extensions are slow in coming but the revolution is not over yet. There will be extensions as LRT is constructed, used, and welcomed as both a quality transport system and an economic driver. I predicted that way back in 198, and I feel the same way today!
