The two Lamps we reported as being out in Gilbert Close and Gadsby Avenue on the 9th March . Well I have some really good news in that I have received a message from the Lighting team. They tell me this morning that both lamps have been repaired and are now back on.
I want to thank the City lighting engineers for their swift work!
I knew they were good, but this really was exceptional. They certainly live up to the City Motto ” Out of Darkness Cometh Light’. I am pleased that Mary and I have played a part also. I am sure the residents in these streets will be pleased to see the lights shining again.
