Today I met a young lady aged 16 Katrina Williamson who has arranged for a food collection to take place during The Hub at Ashmore Park’s Christmas Fayre which took place today Saturday.
Katrina was moved to take this action after coming in contact with a homeless man.
The charity who will be the recipient of the collection is homeless charity P3 here in the city.
I was stunned by the success of her collection and I am mighty proud that she comes from Ashmore Park….well done Katrina. I was also immensely impressed that so many Ashmore Parkers turned out in lousy weather to support the Christmas Fayre.
Every day I get prouder and prodder of our community!
