I have received a request from residents concerning the former garage sites located in Peach Road.
A resident pointed out to me that the road is often filled with parked cars and vans. Sometimes residents and visitors find it hard to find safe parking. I was asked to find out what were the plans for the two former parking sites that are located in the road.
Wolverhampton Homes who owns the two sites have now told me that – “The sites were gated to prevent incidents of Anti-Social Behaviour. Of the two sites, the larger site between numbers 54 and 72 Peach Road is currently being used by Wolverhampton Homes Planned Improvement Project for storage and on site office facilities whilst a property improvement programme is being delivered in the area.
Longer term the sites have been identified as potential areas for new build developments and are being assessed by colleagues from within Wolverhampton City Council Housing Development.”
