Queens Award Winners for Voluntary Service – Wednesfield in Bloom!

What A Big Day for Wednesfield in Bloom.

They have only gone and won the Queens Award for Voluntary Service!

What a fantastic achievement. Wednesfield North Labour Councillors Mary Bateman, Rita Potter and Phil Bateman MBE , offer the Wednesfield in Bloom team of Volunteers the heartiest of congratulations on their success!

It is akin to be awarded a MBE in the Queens Honours list. A fitting tribute I may add to all our fantastic volunteers. Who have made Wednesfield shine over the last five years. Our Volunteers have been a huge difference to Wednesfield. Not just bringing colour to areas that needed it. But also to the fact that the camaraderie has been infectious.

Wednesfield in Bloom brought about great community spirit, and has done great things in bringing our diverse communities together around a common purpose.

We are so very proud of every single Volunteer. Plus the army of residents who have donated flowers, and money to allow the Wednesfield in Bloom activities to flourish. Please Wednesfield give a huge ovation.

A very special ‘Well Done’ to Chair Jo Watson who leads the organisational aspects. Now to celebrate for Wednesfield in Bloom. Join in Wolverhampton….!
