Remembrance Sunday – Wednesfield Arrangements, Are You Coming?

The Remembrance Sunday in Wednesfield is commemorated each year, and the arrangements in place for this Sunday the 8th of November are – Arrive at 8.30am at RBL Vicarage Road Wednesfield. Parade and prepare for March to the Parish Church in Church St Wednesfield.

 

The March will start at 9.00am heading down Vicarage Road to St Thomas’s Church in the Village, where it will end. Service Personnel, Parade and Villagers will enter the Church for the Church Service. click on this link IMG_4707

 

At 11.00am the Church congregation will join others in the Gardens of Remembrance opposite the Church for the Remembrance Service.

 

It is here where the Fallen will be remembered and wreaths will be laid.

 

In recent years we have had a great turn out for the event, I do hope Wednesfield people will once again join the Royal British Legion to commemorate this event.
