With less than a week to go, the excitement is building ahead of Wolverhampton hosting the cycling time trial as part of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. This is a truly global event and we’re excited to have the opportunity to show off our fantastic city and give thousands of visitors a warm Wolverhampton welcome.
As we build up to the big day, we want to make sure that all residents and businesses have been able to ‘Get Set’ for the Games and are prepared as possible, while still being able to enjoy what will be a historic event for the city. Due to anticipated higher levels of traffic due to road closures and diversions, City Council staff have been invited to work from home where possible or to plan ahead and travel early.
