Some of the cases undertaken -In the last few weeks!

Here is a list of issues that I have taken up recently and the results are being delivered., as I #work4wednesfield!

Gorse and Eccleston Road – Rubbish dumped in a footpath between Gorse and Eccleston Road . I can now inform you that, some prevention measures are being discussed between tenant management and the Anti-Social Behaviour Team. The garbage is is to be removed by the estate caretaking team, as a priority.

Ferguson Street Garages– In February I was requested to act in relation to more fly tipping in a Garage Site . I contacted the Authorities, and I have since received confirmation that the Fly Tipping was cleared.

Reynolds Walk– Complaints by residents relating to rubbish was raised with me. I contacted the Authorities and I had confirmation at the end of February that the rubbish had been cleared privately.

Bottom Shops Car Park Drainage Grill – I had some complaints about the drainage grill being damaged, and that it was a danger to cars. I contacted the Authorities and they replaced the damage Grills. Making the car park safe.

Millbank Street – I received a complaint about a Purple Bin damaged by the waste collection vehicle. This damage was done in (November 2020) last year. Despite the resident contacting the Authorities numerous times since. The resident was still without the Bin.  we spoke this morning (6th March) and I contacted the department this morning, this is what the response was. “Afternoon Councillor Bateman – The Refuse department have advised that they will be sorting the bin out this afternoon.   They send their apologies that this was not done sooner.”

I contacted the resident and he confirmed that the job had been done!

Now that seems to be a good and positive point to bring this report to an end. #working4wednesfield
