As today wanes into Tuesday the 12th March. I look back on the day with some good memories being sparked into life, following the ceremony. Mary and I chatted about our attendance this morning.
It was a good ceremony with the Commonwealth flag being raised by Wolverhampton’s Mayor, and the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of the West Midlands County.
We were talking about some 18 years ago when Don McKinnon the then Secretary General of the Commonwealth, then accepted an invitation I had made to him in that year- to attend Wolverhampton.
We enjoyed speaking with friends, and the Mayor & Mayoress, and with Martin the Deputy Lord Lieutenant, about that super day for our City!
