There is a Feeling that a ‘Crisis is Building’ across the UK!

There appears to be a feeling of crisis building in the UK tonight-Sunday.

London and the south east is cut off from rest of the country.

UK outward freight to Calais cut off, UK travel prohibited for a swathe of countries.

Businesses feared drivers will be stranded in Britain, and that goods would be blocked from either leaving or entering – causing food shortages and potentially forcing them to close. Aircraft from Britain being denied access to Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, and our close neighbours France blocks the Channel Tunnel.

Covid-19 is scaring people, the new Variance is expanding faster, and the people need a strong Government with a Prime Minister knowing how to lead! (No luck there then).

Grant Shapps, the transport secretary, urged the public and hauliers to avoid driving to ports in Kent where he said ministers expected “significant disruption”.

Batten down the hatches folks, we look to be in for a hard time, here in Wednesfield and elsewhere. The Government is even coming under fire from its own MP’s who are urging the Prime Minister to ‘Get a grip’.

Tomorrows News on TV and Radio, will obviously be carrying more updates, as will the print media – so Monday is unlikely to be a ‘slow News-Day’!
