Ugly Graffiti Returning To Wednesfield

have noticed recently as I have been walking around Wednesfield and Woodend , that those ugly graffiti tags are are returning. There appears to be ‘one’ tag in particular (Crow or Crew)that is being signed onto both public and private property.

I have taken a few photographs on yesterdays walk that Councillor Mary Bateman and I took to provide the Authorities with some evidence of the profligate attention the graffiti taggers are having on our local Wednesfield environment.

img_1533-graffitiI have reported these ugly tags to West Midlands Police, The Canal & River Trust, and the City of Wolverhampton Council.

I do hope in particular that the West Midlands Police will take this issue seriously and investigate these property crimes.

I know that British Transport Police have become very effective in dealing and tracing with graffiti taggers on railway property. I hope that West Midlands Police will also take this ugly and costly crime seriously, as it spreads across Wednesfield.

But we as members of the Public also have a role to play, I hope you will tackle this particular outfit of graffiti bandits, by informing the Authorities when you see it happening. We cant leave it to the Police or the City Council by themselves. So if you know who is doing this, please supply names and dates to Wednesfield Police….or to me if you have concerns.img_1521-graffiti-29-sept-2016
