Up Date 6 – Traveller Incursion -Kitchen Lane Open Space.
This morning I have had a briefing from Inspector Tracey Meir of West Midlands Police. She informs me that the Court Order was served yesterday. That West Midlands Police Officers are regularly patrolling the site.
She also informs me that they believe that the Group are considering leaving the site soon, and today a number of families have indeed left. I am assured the Police will be continuing to give close attention to the remaining families.
Inspector Meir assures me that the West Midlands Police will continue to take this matter very seriously.
