We Love Manchester Emergency Fund -Registered as a Charity.

Manchester City Council and the British Red Cross’ – We Love Manchester Emergency Fund,  has reached £5.76m bolstered by support from the football community including Manchester United and Manchester City, as well as £100,000 from Wayne Rooney’s foundation.

Following recommendations from the Charities Commission, Manchester City Council has registered the fund as a charity in order to distribute the funds, with former council chief executive Sir Howard Bernstein joining the board of trustees.

My surprise is seeing the £100,000 from Wayne Rooney’s foundation and I applaud him for his actions.

Well done to everyone who has made a donation wherever you are. Terrorism is a scourge of the World, and it must not be allowed to win.Blue Light
