Wednesfield FC – Adding Value to Living in Wednesfield!

Wednesfield FC C-pdXtEXUAI4xk2Wednesfield Football Club is having its fair share of success on the field this year! Wednesfield as a community is very proud of them.

All that success doesn’t just happen. It is worked for.

This year the first team is to be promoted in the West Midlands Regional League, there are Cup Finals still to be played, and football matches are still taking place. So their Season has yet to come to an end.

But in this post I want to concentrate on the amazing success the Wednesfield FC has in bringing forward youngsters, giving them organised football and most of all give a little bit of praise to all those hard working coaches that provide training, organising sessions, and just making sport part of their lives.

Sport, and football in particular cannot be played without discipline, and some dedication. It’s the men and women on the side-lines and behind the scenes, that are also so vital.

Here in this picture nine individual football teams from Wednesfield FC  were in Butlins Skegness! Yes they had footballing success in the tournament so much so, that former England Manager Kevin Keegan presented medals to the squads on duty.

Again though think of the organising that took place to arrange all of this, none of it actually ‘Just Happens’.

It all has to be organised and it is the men and women in the Wednesfield FC that does much of that.

Here in our Village of Wednesfield. It is Wednesfield FC and can I say Wednesfield Cycle Speedway who also are doing so much – as sporting clubs of excellence – to take our young children off the streets and provide meaningful sporting opportunity for them.

Keeping them safe, taking them off the streets, giving purpose to health and helping to serve up healthy minds.

That in turn feeds through to our greater community.

Wednesfield is a fine place to live, and it’s the men and women working in their own leisure time that helps to provide the added value to living in our community.

I take my hat off to those who do this. You are a credit to our Wednesfield…Yes and you give us great headlines!

Wednesfield really is a great place to live!
