Wednesfield FC opened their season with a 1-0 home win. I was there as they beat Worcester 2-0 even after a player was sent off. I have been chatting with some of their officials and they tell me that this was the biggest attendance for some several years. Some 220 Wednesfielders turned out to support the club.
I know they have been having a tough time of late, but I am sure Wednesfield folk would want to see the Club doing better off and on the pitch!
So why not have a little trip down to the Club in Amos Lane and give them a watch….. oh and if you run a community group or are part of a scout or some other group….the Wednesfield officials tell me that they would love to see you meeting in their club facilities!
It all helps our Village its community activity and gives us all a great lift!
