Today in Wolverhampton it is Mayor Making day! The new Wolverhampton Mayor will be Councillor Ian Brookfield.

Wednesfield will provide yet another Mayor to the City of Wolverhampton! Ian of course represents the Wednesfield Ward of Fallings Park. His Mayoress is his wife and best friend, Councillor Paula Brookfield who represents Wednesfield South on the City Council.

Both Mary and I wish our new Mayor & Mayoress all the luck in the World! Plus very good wishes for their Mayoral Year.  I am sure they will love the experience in representing all the people of this great, historic and diverse city!

Ian will be the 157^th Mayor of the City of Wolverhampton and the 7^th Mayor installed in to the City in the 21^st Century.
