The statistics relate to 2014 the they are the latest statistics available. West Midlands has performed well with Birmingham top of this entrepreneurial league with a record of 14,152 new companies a figure which is  much higher than Manchester who are second with 8,172 new companies registered.

Locally following Birmingham is Coventry with 3,325; Wolverhampton with 1844;Dudley with1801;Shropshire 1603;Walsall with 1576;Solihull with1566;Lichfield with1030;Telford 781;Stafford with 671;

I am pleased to see that Wolverhampton is seen very much as a hot-spot for start up business and for entrepreneurs who want to create jobs and prosperity. We are as always keen to see growth and opportunity.
