Wolverhampton and Wednesfield Vote ‘Leave’!

Mary and I returned home in the very early hours of this morning, It was light when we pulled up on the drive!.

We were at the count last night for the Referendum. Bit of a sleep – in this morning though!

It was an historic occasion and one that certainly was quite nail biting for large periods of the evening, as we watched the Live screens in the Aldersley Counting Hall set up specially for the evening.

Here is the results of your local balloting. I do not think you will get this level of information anywhere else this morning.

The results were that Wolverhampton and Wednesfield wants to Leave, and the Country as a whole have also indicated that now – As we all know the referendum results are now in.

Leave wins Wolverhampton, it also won Wednesfield North and Wednesfield South Wards.

Here is the Wolverhampton Leave vote –

Leave – was 73,798 votes-

Remain –  was 44,138 votes .

Wednesfield North Ward  – Leave was 4681 votes;   Remain vote was  a total of 1441.

Wednesfield South -Leave was 4314 votes;  Remain votes were a total of  1776
