Wolverhampton Remembers the Wednesfield Great Battle!

Wednesday is ‘Battle of Wodensfield Day’ I do hope that all you Wednesfield Folk have joined me and flown a flag from your house of works to commemorate this great battle from which our Village got its name!

Remember that we are commemorating this event which took place in 910AD. Wolverhampton City Council will be raising the City flag over the next two days.

So come on folks enjoy your Villages history and get ready for the re-enactment battle to be held on Wednesfield High at 12.30 or around that time on the grounds of Wednesfield High School!
