This is the question that I have asked relating to the constant concerns that residents in my Ward of Wednesfield North continually asked of me.
“Please can you set out what the Safer Wolverhampton Partnership is doing with regards to tackling speedsters operating after 8.00pm at night in Wards like my own in Wednesfield North?
Can you explain what the Police Strategy is in Wolverhampton with the Traffic Police to deal with this increasing issue?
We have a speed camera in Lichfield Road and Linthouse Lane? When will they Be brought back into use?
My residents are asking this question and others. They see the increase in speed activity, after 8.00pm.
They quite rightly want to know what is being done to deal with the problem.”
The matter is being addressed by West Midlands Police, and I am hoping for a response soon….I will of course make it public.
